Programma
The course aims to investigate the latest philosophical research in relation to theories describing the genesis and the structure of social reality.
The course will offers a discussion of some of the most classical theories concerning the social ontology (Vico, Hobbes, Rousseau, Reinach) and its political implications. The more recent theories (Gilbert, Guala, Ferraris, Searle) will be presented and discussed in the second part of the course, along with their central concepts (i.e, intention, collective intention, intentionality, social objects, documentality, documents, generations). This will offer the occasion for facing some very central questions crossing social ontology, ethics and political philosophy as well (i.e. the concept of justice, justice between generations, and transgenerationality).
