Course "Formal Epistemology and Philosophy of Science", PIC

This message is for students in the PIC who would like to follow the MA level course "Formal Epistemology and Philosophy of Science" that I am teaching this September/October.
The topics of the course will be uncertain/probabilistic reasoning as well as models of causality, the authority of science (vs. "alternative facts" or "alternative science"), and science and human values. The course is a mixture of lectures, reading and discussion sessions. A more detailed syllabus will be posted soon.
The most urgent thing at the moment is, however, scheduling. I am not in Turin in the week of 17 September, which leaves us the choice between finding alternative dates, or finding a substitute teacher. I would very much prefer the first and I propose to try the week of 10 September (=one week before the other lectures begin) at the usual time (Monday-Wednesday, 16-18h).
