Obiettivi formativi
Development of the ability to expose, analyze and critically understand philosophical texts, and in particular to identify and evaluate relevant philosophical questions and compare different theorical positions.
Attraverso la lettura guidata e la discussione, o attraverso lo studio individuale, sviluppo della capacità di esposizione, analisi critica e comprensione dei testi filosofici, in particolare della capacità di cogliere le questioni filosofiche rilevanti e di confrontare diverse posizioni teoriche.

The student is required to acquire more than superficial knowledge of the covered topics both in their historical context and in relation to other theorical positions; to develop the ability to espose, explain and critically comment on passages or argumentations of a philosophical text.
Lo studente dovrà giungere a conoscere in modo non superficiale i temi trattati sia nel loro contesto storico sia in relazione ad altre posizioni teoriche; acquisire la capacità di esporre, spiegare e commentare criticamente passi o argomentazioni propri di un testo filosofico.

Seminar lectures of 36 hours, with active participation of the students (6 CFU).

Modalità di verifica dell'apprendimento
The learning results will be assessed both during the course, through presentations and papers by the attending students, and with a final oral exam. In order to meet the course requirements the students will have to show a) the capacity to understand and analyze the proposed texts ; b) good mastery of the pertinent philosophical vocabulary; c) the ability to identify argumentative structures in the proposed texts. The final grade is based on a 30-point scale.
I risultati saranno valutati sia durante il corso dell'insegnamento, tramite presentazioni e relazioni scritte da parte degli studenti frequentanti, sia con un esame finale orale. Lo studente dovrà dimostrare a) la capacità di comprendere e analizzare i testi proposti; b) buona padronanza del vocabolario filosofico pertinente; c) capacità di identificare le strutture argomentative nei testi proposti. Il voto finale è espresso in trentesimi.

Gadamer's Hermeneutics
The course aims to present the basic contents of the Gadamerian hermeneutics, with particular reference to his main work, Truth and Method.
Main topics:
- critic of aesthetic conscioussness;
- methodic knowledge and historic experience;
- ontology of the play;
- truth as increase in being;
- the event-character of truth and its experiential meaning;

L'insegnamento si propone di illustrare i contenuti fondamentali dell'ermeneutica di Gadamer, con particolare riferimento alla sua opera principale, Verità e metodo.
Argomenti principali:
- critica della coscienza estetica;

- ontologia del gioco;
- la verità come incremento d'essere;
- il carattere eventuale della verità e il suo significato esperienziale;
